You’ll hear a lot about integration here at Geneva10. But what exactly does that mean?

In a nutshell, integration involves connecting your software platform to those of the companies you do business with in order to share real-time data. In our case, that means integrating our Warehouse Management System (WMS) with the many marketplaces we utilize to fulfill orders. We’ve integrated with over 100 in all, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Wayfair, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and many others. Here’s how it works: let’s say you have a website and an eCommerce platform such as Shopify. We connect via EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) or API (Application Program Interface) and your order is automatically transmitted to Geneva10. We fulfill it, and the tracking information is sent back to you. The entire process is automated.

Our in-house integration team facilitates the transfer of all data, and a dedicated account coordinator handles all administrative duties. You don’t have to take time out of your busy schedule to manually enter information — we do all the work for you! Our levels of integration are very thorough and customized to whatever supply chain system you are using, so you can be confident we’re here to meet your needs every step of the way. And if you ever have questions or need help, we’re just a phone call away.

The biggest advantage of integration is the visibility it provides. You’re able to see real-time data throughout every level of the process, from inventory levels and product shipments to tracking information. Orders are fulfilled faster and errors are less likely to occur. Integration frees you up to concentrate on other important tasks and eliminates the need for additional staff, saving you time and money.

Other 3PLs offer integration, but they typically outsource the work. Our in-house technology team is fully responsible for all aspects of integration, including coding and software development. Doing the work ourselves is faster and allows us to provide a very customized solution. We’re able to adapt quickly and change priorities to meet your needs.
